Tipping an upright piano is very useful for some repairs, here is a short video of us tipping a Japanese Kawai upright.
Tipping the piano allows us to repair the pedal board, restring the piano, and other repairs on pins, etc. These are much easier once in this position.
The piano tipper is a one person device, we just added this tool to our toolkit. And are happy to tip our first upright!
