When a pianos bridal strap (otherwise known as a ‘tape’) breaks, it usually breaks where it connects to the action.
The old bridal strap must be removed with a sharp hobby knife
And a new replacement glued in its place. Making sure to match the length of the previous strap.
Once the glue is settled, the strap can be glued in place
